Quality Rapid-Rate Thermal Cycling Chamber for Solar Panel PV Module Industrial Tesing
1. Applications:
KOMEG Turnkey Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) Systems are specially designed to meet a range of ESS testing applications. ESS Systems consist of a test chamber, controller, product fixture, interconnect and wiring, and a functional tester.
Environmental stress screening (ESS) is also known as Burn-in, AST (Accelerated Stress Testing), HALT (Highly Accelerated Stress Test), or HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening). No matter what the name is, the idea is the same: create a test program that allows you to eliminate the infant mortality of your products.
Developed to help electronics manufacturers detect product defects and production flaws, Environmental Stress Screening forces infancy product failures that would otherwise occur after final assembly and product delivery. ESS Chambers’ goal is to improve profitability by eliminating defective products. ESS Systems can meet individual performance needs, product loading, and throughput requirements. KOMEG Technology has the experience to provide the best solution for ESS testing at your company.

4. ESS Test Chambers Application on Solar Panel PV Module Industrial:
Solar Panel Test Conditions is as below:
Thermal Cycle Test Profile
Suggested Test Profile:
Step 1: Ramp from ambient to -40 ℃ (100 ℃/hr max on module, or 39 minutes) (UL ramp is air temp.)
Step 2:Hold -40 ℃ for 10 minutes minimum (±2 ℃)
Step 3: Ramp to 85 ℃ (100 ℃/hr max on module, or 75 minutes) (UL 90 ℃, ramp is air temp.)
Step 4: Hold at 85 ℃ for 10 minutes minimum (±2 ℃) (UL 90℃)
Step 5: Ramp to 23 ℃(100 ℃/hr max on module, or 36 minutes) (UL ramp is air temp.)
Step 6: Go to step 1. Cycle 50 or 200 times.(UL 200 times)
Testing time:
Note: Total time per cycle is not to exceed six hours.
Fastest cycle time is 170 minutes/2.8hours (ramping at 100 ℃/hr)
Slowest cycle time is 360 minutes/6hours (ramping at 44 ℃/hr)
Total test time: Maximum ramp rate: 6 days or 24 hours.
Humidity-Freeze Test Profile
Suggested test profile:
Step 1: Ramp from ambient to 85 ℃/85%(100 ℃/hr max on module, 36 minutes)
Step 2: Hold 85/85 for 20 hours minimum (±2 ℃, ±5%)
Step 3: Turn off humidity control. Ramp to 0 ℃ (100 ℃/hr max on module, 51 minutes)
Step 4: Ramp to -40 ℃ (200 ℃/hr max on module, 12 minutes)
Step 5: Hold -40 for 0.5 hour (±2 ℃, 30 minutes)
Step 6: Ramp to 0 ℃ (200 ℃/hr max on module, 12 minutes)
Step 7: Ramp to 23 ℃(100 ℃/hr max on module, 51 minutes)
Step 8: Go to step 2 . End test after ten cycles.
